Laptop rfusing to start up
My dell inspiron N5110 is refusing to start upit gives me the message PXE-E61 Media test failure check cable. PXE-M0F: exiting PXE RON. Reboot and select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key. When l press F12 nothing happens. l managed to get the setup option and ran a diagnostic test. and l was informed there is no hard drive detected.please assit

Your hard drive has failed. You'll need a new, 2.5" 7- or 9.5 mm SATA notebook drive to replace it (plus a lot of patience, as this model has the drive mounted on the underside of the mainboard, requiring a complete system tear-down to replace the drive).

II would try reseating the cable first usually, but with how hard it is to get to the hard drive on your particular device, it might be better to just do as was posted above and replace the hard drive.
If you have warranty still then now is a good time to contact support for the hard drive and OS installation disc, or for service. They will want the code you get with diagnostics and the verification code.
