Welcome to the Community. Since its just been a week since you got the computer, the part will be replaced with a new one. The part will go out like for like, so that means you will get the same part, unless there is a backlog in parts. If it was over 30 days that you got the system, then it would have been a refurbished part. The LCD's are pretty easy to replace, so if you have a service tech come out to replace it, he should be able to fit it back fine, as we do that in the factory as well.

Check the part number and compare it;)they are likely to put same one.

it is easy to replace the screen, so you can do it yourself:) if you need assistance, just ask:)

Don't do this while you're under warranty - if you break something in the process, you'll be in for trouble.
