What is the safest way to do the upgrade? I do not have a floppy drive. If i need to create a cd how do I perform that. This is all new to me.

If it isn't broken don't fix it!

Are you having any issues with the system the way it is now? If the answer is no, then why mess around and possibly mess the system up. A Bad BIOS Flash could render the system unbootable and unusable. Possibly a mother board replacement candidate. It has happened and does still happen. Err on the safe side.

There is nothing wrong with my system nor do I have any problems or conflicks. That is why I posted this to find out if I need to do the urgent update. I have the A13 BIOS installed on my system now. The question is do I need the A14 update if everything is running fine? As stated above I dont want to mess with the BIOS if I dont have to.

I’m not afraid of frying anything. I just wanted to know if I really need the so-called urgent update to A14 since I don’t have any issues with my system. I have the A13 bios in my system now and everything is working fine. Looking at your sig your not running the latest bios, your only running a12.

I'm also running A13 with my almost new 6400. Everything runs fine. No intention of messing with the status quo.
