Latitude E550 video issues

Hi,

I have an issue with a latitude laptop and native resolutions.

I currently have 2 Latitude E5550.

One has a native resolution of 1920 x1080 (read in bios) and the other has a native resolution of 1366 x 768.

Identical drivers (Intel HD graphics 5000 i believe. Video bios 1032v17). Identical bios versions. Both on Windows 7 SP1 64bit.

My first idea as to why this is happening is because I changed the hdd in laptop 2 (the 1366x768 one). It was a 500gb hdd spin disc but I replaced it with an SSD and installed windows 7 fresh. Unsure as to why this would cause the resolution to be lower though?

Any other information needed let me know,

Thanks.

One was ordered with the standard display panel (1366X768) and the other was ordered with an upgraded FHD screen - in other words, the hardware is different.  This has nothing to do with drivers, WIndows etc. -- one system simply has a higher resolution screen than the other.
