Latitude E6410 does not power up.
I have a Dell Latitude E6410 that is not powering up. When plugged in and I press the power button, the blue power backlight stays on for about 10 seconds and then goes off. Right at the time it goes off the the Battery Status light will come on (as blue) for about 3 seconds.
When not plugged and I try to power it up, the blue power backlight stays on for about 10 seconds and goes off. In this instance the battery light DOES NOT COME ON.
Any ideas? At one point after I experienced this situation it eventually came on. But now it is back to the same behavior.

Unplug the system, remove the battery and verify that the LED on the adapter is ON - if it's not, replace the adapter.
Hold the power button for 30 sec. Remove and reinstall both memory modules (under the base cover). Plug in and try powering up without the battery. If it will, but won't with the battery, the battery is bad.
If it still won't power up, replace the mainboard.

Ok - did as you said and get the same results. I will order a motherboard. Thanks you.
