Latitude E6530
Hi,
I would like to buy latitude E6530 which has following specification:
Operating system: windows7 32 bit
processor: 3rd Gen Intel Core i7-3630QM Processor (2.40GHz, 6MB cache, No vPRO)
Graphics: NVIDIA NVS 5200M (GDDR5 1GB) Discrete Graphics
RAM: 4GB
I would like to know,
How much memory will be reserved for hardware?
My current laptop showing,
4GB RAM installed but 2.7GB useable and Resource monitor showing 1.7 GB reserved for the hardware. I can not change this.
I am looking for less (256 or 500MB) reserved for the hardware. Does latitude E6530 has this facility?
Could anyone help me with this?
Thank You

Your issue is with the 32-bit operating system, not the hardware as such.
If you want more free memory, upgrade to a 64-bit OS and if you really need a 32-bit OS, use a virtual PC or virtual box to run it.

Thank You ejn63,
But I can not use virtual PC or virtual box.
I have seen some laptop has 9MB reserved memory only and all available for system.
I would like to buy latitude E6530 so I want to know what is memory configuration in that laptop
Thank You
