Latitude e6540 hot boot issues

My laptop will not boot when even slightly warm. Power light comes on but It never gets to the video, it simply stops. Once I cool it down, it boots and operates normally. I must sometimes put it outside on a cold day, or in a refrigerator to get it cool enough to boot. I have run the diagnostics and everything is normal and passed.
