LCD panel swap help needed

I currently have a Latitude C610 with a SXGA LCD. The native screen resolution for this is way to high for my eyes so I want to swap it out for the XGA LCD I purchased. However, the cable going from the board underneath the keyboard up to the back of the LCD panel have the incorrect number of pins for new panel. My current LCD panel is 0695EM and the cable is 5H090. The new panel is a Samsung 14.1" XGA. I am not sure which number on it is the Dell number so here are the numbers from the back: DP/N KR-01164X-39792-12G-05BW; LTN141X8-L02; and 4L1B38008E. If you are able to make sense of that, which cable to I need to get this to work? I bought what I thought was the correct cable, but it doesn't have the "L" shape needed to reach the connector under the keyboard. I have attempted to get this information from Dell, but I haven't found any one familiar enough to get the correct part. Hopefully someone here will know.

Thank you in advance,

Tim

I found the following post with a member looking for what appears to be the same cable, but he didn't get a final reply. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe you need the XGA cable, part number 1H778 (Assembly, Cable, Flexible, XGA LCD, Dorado/Athens/Tualatin/Almodo). That is from the list of parts from Dell support site for my C610 which has a XGA screen.

Call Dell Spare parts.

Just to let everyone know, the cable suggested was the right one. I am now back to the XGA and can actually read the screen in my non-Windows native applications. Hooray! Thank you for your help.
