Low Performance

Question

Hello Everybody, I am a new member of this forum and my name is Nils. I am from Germany, so please excuse my english. I have purchased an Inspiron 5150 last week and everything was fine until I let it run under battery. It seems as if the notebook runs only half with its performance. It takes ages to start programmes and I am not able to play games anymore, which ran perfectly, when the notebook is plugged to the electricity net. I already looked in power management, but I cannot find an option saying 'run only half performance'. I hope someone is able to help ?!  Thank you Nils

Try a program called 'SpeedSwitchXP', it allows setting of exactly the performance levels you want under many situations. The URL is 'http://www.diefer.de/speedswitchxp/index.html'.
