Low Quality

Question

I purchased a DELL INSPIRON laptop.  Loved its size and shape and performance, especially battary life.  I recommended it to many of my friends and relatives.   But now after 13 months from the purchase some of the keys are not working and today i found that it is not booting as well.   Is the quality of the keyboard is to last for one year?     Any way i am not going to buy another DELL.

Inspiron = consumer-grade Latitude = business-grade I have bought 4 used Latitudes; all still in great shape
