The good news is that yes, there is an extension. The bad news is that it's only for 12 months beyond the original warranty so you may be in the market for a new system within the year.
That's fine by me, even one year is better than nothing. My question then is if this issue crops up again how do Iobtain the service? When I call tech support, since my orginal one year warranty is over I can't get any further on the phone without paying for the support. If this is covered under an extended warranty I shouldn't have to pay to talk to tech support but as soon as the automated service sees my service tag # I'm asked if I want to pay for service. Any insight would be apprecieated. Thanks!
