M1530 Processor + Memory upgrade
I currently have a 2.5" 250GB HD and a Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz (2 CPUs) Processor with 4096MB RAM.
Is it possible to upgrade my processor and RAM?

Rather than put money into this system, I'd opt to save for a replacement system - this one uses a short-lived nVidia video chip with a known history of problems.

Im currently running windows 7 64bit if that makes any difference.

You can use any of the Core2 Duo CPUs on an 800 MHz bus. The 1066 MHz bus Core 2s will not work - nor will the newer Core i3/i5/i7.
The RAM can go to 8G but you'll have to replace, not add, memory and must be using a 64-bit OS to use more than 4G.
