Yes, it should be possible. I've seen the Dell technician take apart my M15x. The GPU and CPU are both removable. The real questions would be, where can we can the new CPU/GPU, how much will it cost and will it be compatible with our M15x?
Will Dell offer us the upgrades or do we have to do it on our own after the warranty runs out (or risk voiding it altogether!)
Would be great if Dell would offer upgrades for Alienware laptops at cost of parts and slight labour charge. They could take back the old parts to be refurbished to offset part of the labour charge.

The processor can be upgraded - however, doing so will void the warranty, if that's a consideration.
