Maxx Audio - Bluetooth headphones - "current default playback device is not supported"
Hi
I have a new Dell XPS 13 9360 which is great.
One minor irritation is that I am unable to use any equalisation with my bluetooth headphones so they sound very flat. With earphones that are plugged in, Maxx Audio Pro works brilliantly.
Please see screenshots for details. Any guidance would be very much appreciated!
Many thanks

Hello. Bluetooth audio devices are independent from the laptop's own integrated audio system (Realtek), so the Realtek/Waves software has no effect on it. The same would be true if you were to use a usb audio device.

Bluetooth doesn't use the Maxx panel. Look at playback devices from the speaker icon and the properties button.

many thanks, that makes sense!
I've installed Equalizer Pro and it works well as a workaround.
