Middle TrackStick button on E6320

There are three trackstick buttons on this laptop.

The left and right correspond to left mouse click and right mouse click.  No problem there.

What is the middle one for?

When I click it nothing happens.  I have looked in control panel under mouse, touchpad and other sections, but cannot find any place where I can select or program that middle button.

If someone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Hi,

Welcome to the Community. The middle one is a Trackstick. The one below your keyboard is the touchpad buttons. You will not be able to click on anything with the middle Trackstick, however you can use that to navigate to a particluar position like a mouse. Most of them use the trackstick, when the touchpad is disabled as the palm touches the touchpad when typing.

Thank you
