Missing Volume Slide Bar

Question

Hello, I recently upgraded my 5150 XP Pro SP1 to SP2 and noticed that my horizontal volume slide bar no longer appears when I hit FN + PAGE UP or FN + PAGE DN.  How do I get it back?  The same thing happened for the horizontal brightness bar when I hit FN + UP ARROW or FN + DOWN ARROW.   Thanks for you help.

do you still have dell quickset installed?

Yes, I still have Dell Quickset installed. I opened it and now I both the audio and brightness back.   Thank you for your help.
