Your pictures are way too big to even read your post. They are also very out of focus so that I cannot even see what they are after resizing them in photoshop.
Sorry, I put them on a site, and I can't just copy and paste them into this message, so i'll give you the links to them, if you let it load they get smaller... Here is the original image of what I have on the back of the monitor:

Now, when I was taking the laptop apart, I ripped the tape; here are two pictures of the two different rips...(oops):
hmmm... beleive it or not, i don't even think it has a video output to use with another monitor because its so old, but i'll check it out, and look around on dell and ebay thanks for the advice

depending on how old it is, you can either get a replacement part from Dell or buy a
parts laptop off ebay.
