Multi Monitors with different resolution

I can not make my Dell 9300 with BIOS A01 and a Viewsonic 17" monitor that maxs resolution is 1280, show different res. as per 17: Dell Laptop screen native is 1920 and I would like to keep this one, and have the max on the Viewsonic what is 1280

GO TO DISPLAU PROPERTIES AND THE CHANGE THE RESOLUTION OF THE CLONE IMAGEON THE EXTERNAL DEVICE.CHANGE IT BY FIRST CLICKING ON THE SHADED IMAGE SO THAT IT CAN BE SELTED AND THEN CHANGE IT THE WAY U WANT.
