My Computer will not boot

I have a Dell Latitude d630 computer. Everytime i turn the power button to turn on a blue screen will suddenly pop up. It will not bring the dell loading screen up and will not bring up the option to "start windows normal". I have had the battery replaced wih a new one. I have no idea with what to do. I took it to my schools IT lab and they might think its the memory card or the screen itself. Any help on what to do next or atleast on how to get the loading screen up would be great. And sometimes when i can press ctrl, alt and delete at the same time the screen will disapper and come back with the blue screen. And after sitting their with the blue screen after a while the "wifi" light will light up as well with the "blue tooth" light

Thanks to anybody that responds!

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

You may also launch the PSA+ diagnostics on this system, by performing one of the following actions:

  • Hold down the key while pressing the power button.
  • Turn on the system, press at the initial Dell™ logo screen, and select Diagnostics from the boot menu.
  • Disconnect the AC power and remove the battery. While holding down the power button, insert the AC connector into the back of the system. The system then starts and the message Diagnsotic boot selected displays. The system then launches the PSA+ diagnostics.

If you are not able to access the F12 screen, please try one of the alternate methods mentioned above.

Let me know if further help is needed.

Thanks and regards,

The Dell™ Diagnostics utility is a hardware diagnostic program placed in the utility partition on the hard drive. The diagnostic utility can also be found on the Dell ResourceCD.
