No logo while booting

The laptop 1530 doesn't boot. After turning it on I don't see Dell logo and POST. Nothing. A glowing screen only. It seems working, but with nothing on the screen.

Check to see if there's an image on an external display - if there is, call and have the LCD panel replaced  under warranty.

Checked. No image on an external display. What to do next?

remove AC power

 

Remove battery for no less than 1 minute

 

Reinstall battery

 

Boot laptop

 

 

Does it boot now?

My guess: .... Bad Video Card...

Yes, bad video card. A technician said the same yesterday. What a piece of junk for 1.000 bucks!
