Have you installed this driver? Try unplugging the camera then installing the driver, then plugging the camera in. Try a different port. Are you sure it uses USB? Do you need a DV (firewire) port instead?
Do you have the manual that came with the camera? If not, see if you can download it and follow the directions for installing the camera.

Are you saying you make movies with this, then want to edit them in movie maker?
Might easier just to see if you can pull the stuff off the camera using explorer then opening them with movie maker.

All I have on My Computer is:
Our Documents.
C:drive Local disk
D: Drive cd/dvd
I just want to do VERY simple things with Film on camera like transfer to DVD and maybe edit if it looks really bad!!

The manual is not brilliant.
I dont seem to have a firewire folder/section in My Computer but everthing seems ok on Device Manager. I dont suppose you have any ideas do you?
