Nokia DKU-5 Data Cable DKU-5
Dear All,
I try to use Nokia data cable DKU-5 to link my USB with my Nokia 7210.
But Nokia Connection Manager cannot find my phone, it says the phone is not connected.
However, my phone is connected to my Insprion 8200.
Do I need to change my BIOS setting to make it work?
Or, I need to do something else?
I can use Infrered sync, but the Data Cable Sync doesn't work.
Somebody helps.

you have to go to the nokia us site and download the drivers for your cable and phone.
there is other software also.
if you are using verzion or alltel the dail up is #777 the user name is qnc
and password is qnc all lower case.
they must be installed before the cable is conceted.
then the Phone conected last.
then installed the modem drivers for your phone.
I had to use a Standaed 19200 modem am currently using 33600
set with connect speed 230400
