Open CD Fn Key
Hi is it possible to get the open CD key to work i.e. Fn + F10 without installing the Dell utility, All the other keys are working fine on my I8600.
Any ideas.
I have Win XP installed on my old I8000 and no utilities and the Fn+F10 works fine...is there a specific Bios entry where I can find this?
Regards,
Johann

Johann,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
The Fn functions are related to the BIOS. I recommend either updating or resetting this to resolve this issue.

Johann,
Updated versions of the BIOS are located on the Downloads tab (above). Select your operating system then FlashBIOS Updates as the download category.

Johann,
There is no specific area where you can enable or disable the Fn functions. These are built into the BIOS and generally resetting or updating this corrects the issue.
