Your temperatures are good. Anything over 70c (under intense usage) and I would start worrying.

System:  i8500, Radeon 9000, 40Gb 5400rpm HD, 512Mb RAM

I watched my temps while defragging the hard disk yesterday.

Max temps:

CPU 61
GPU 56
RAM 49
HD  48

Interestingly, once the CPU passed 61º, the fan kicked in - within three minutes, the CPU temp dropped to 39º.  The fan kept running for a minute or two longer, then shut off.  The temp crept slowly back up to 58º or so.  I keep forgetting to look at the temps when I get out of KOTOR, I'll try to remember to check next time I play.  I just ran 3DMark 2001SE, and the GPU temp was at 63º when it finished.

my cpu temps reach up to 100c and then the system lowers the speed to 1.2 until it reachs around 60c and then kicks it back to 2.6 during gaming

clean or replace your fan that should help, I had very similar problem

has the mod ever been done on a 2.6 or a 2.5 p4m

I did the mod on a 2.2GHz with my Radeon 9600pro turbo. I also had the overheating issue. My Notebook cuts off at 95°C. I dropped the temp about 20°C with that mod. Now my radeon works fine. I don't think that the CPU plays such a big role in that. My CPU reaches 55-60°C max.

Hello my 3dmark03 score is 2796 and my 3dmark01 score is 9890 i have an inspiron 8600 1,5 and a radeon 9600 pro.
