Password Authentication System
I have a dell inspiron 1545 with windows 7 installed. My kids decided to use the laptop and tried my password a few times now whenever i turn it on it says its locked by a password authentication system and does not boot into windows. How do i find the password?

You will need to call Dell and verify your ownership of the system. They'll generate a master password for you.
Your children will then owe you $60 -- the cost of the call. It's not a free support call if you're out of warranty.

Hi,
I have added you as a friend. Please accept my friend request by clicking on my name highlighted in blue and then click on “Friends” tab at the top and then click on “Request to Review” and finally click on “Accept” button.
