Password HDD

Question

My laptop was running fine and normal, until yesterday. When I power on, screen displayed: 'Hard-disk #***********-595B, the system Primary HDD, is protected by a password authentication system. You cannot access days on this hard drive without the correct password.Please type in the hard-drive passwordAnd press .' I never set any passwords T.T please help me! p/s: my laptop is Inspiron 1525, I bought it on March 07, 2009.

Chances are the drive has failed, if you're absolutely sure no one got into the BIOS and set the password.
