Power Adapter

Recently I have started to get this error.  "The AC power adapter cannot be determined. Your system will operate slower and the battery will not charge."  Can anyone tell me what is causing this? I am using the power adapter that came with the laptop. The laptop is a e1505 bought about 16 months ago.

Faulty power jack or faulty mainboard power circuitry.

agreed. almost always remedied by replacement motherboard.

I ordered a new power supply hope that is the problem. I did notice that mine is a 65w and now dell is selling 90w for these so maybe it was under powered.  Where can I get a main board at?
