Problem w/2200

I purchased an Inspiron 2200 approx 1-1/2 years ago and have continued to experience problems with it.  I also purchased the Premium Service warranty which has helped only slightly until my last set of problems which have led me to total despair.

Problems:

1.  After using the computer for a few months I began having problems with the mouse.  It is very hard to describe but here it is - at times the pointer will automatically activate and when I drag it across the page it will highlight items and automatically go into another page or, if I'm writing, it may highlight and quickly delete what I'm writing.  You can imagine how frustrating this has been.  Dell warranty repair has replaced the mousepad twice and it has not fixed the problem.

2.  I have broken  the PCMCIA card slot eject button twice which requires replacing the motherboard.  When I received the computer back after the first time the sound did not work.

3.  After hours of time on the phone with warranty repair and tech support I find that I am now getting a "run-around" attitude which is disturbing and compounds the problem.

I anyone can help find solutions to thes issues, please advise.

Thank you,

Bob Scott
