Problem with Adaptor?
I have a NEW Inspiron15-3562. BIOS 4.0.13. At every start up I get a message telling me the AC power adaptor can't be defined. Connect a DELL 45 WAC adaptor or higher etc.etc. Start is often very slow too!
This is very tiresome and help will me be much appreciated. Thank you. JH

It might be the way you plugging the AC adapter into the port. The port on these newer computers are very sensitive and quick to give that AC adapter error code. If you plugged the adapter too quickly, you'll most likely get that error code. On some Dell computers, you can't plugged the adapter all way into the port, it has to be about 1/4 from the port.

I suggest plugging the AC adapter into another wall socket or try another Power Surge Protector and see if that will make a difference. Also....
- Check the ID pin in the center of the connector tip to ensure it is not bent or missing
- Check the wall cord for fraying, and ensure it is firmly connected to the wall outlet and adapter brick

First - Check for the latest window updates are installed on system. Type Check For Updates onto [Cortana] search box, and then click on 'check for updates'. Please click on Updates History as well, and look for any failed updates.
Second - Run 'Guide Me' option in your Dell Product Support page. It will automatically detect driver updates for your system. Please follow steps to run Guide Me option in the link below:
