Problem with Dell Studio 1558
I have a dell studio 1558 laptop, which is approx 4 yr old. Recently it has got some problem & switched off suddenly. When consulted with one of the local laptop repair shop, he has intimated that there is some problem with graphic card. He has done something (he termed it as reboiling) to the graphic card & laptop worked for few days. But now again same problem has come. Can some one suggest what is to be done. Shall I go for replacement of mother board?

Yes, that would be next (the shop should be willing to refund the repair attempt or re-try it -- since it apparently failed in such short order).

I have the exact same laptop and mines is 4 years old with a very similar problem, After like 10 - 15 mins I get the blue screen of death and it reboots. I am thinking because of the nature of the error it might be the hard drive going. Any suggestions? I have not taken it in for a diagnostic yet.
