Problem with Graphics Controller
Hardware: Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Notebook: i1100
Driver Vers: 6.13.1.3460
Device Status: Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
I've tried doing pretty much everything I could from my own experience and from other people's suggestions. I can't seem to get it to work.
Any suggestions? I'm looking at a 7"x7" monitor screen right now, which has about 5"+/- or so of black space between it and the end of the LCD screen. It's not letting me increase the resolution.
I've tried updating (it says there are none), I've tried reinstalling, I've tried pretty much everything, as I've said.

fn+f7 doesn't work.
How do I know if the chipset is installed?
See, I reformatted the computer and reinstalled everything again, so I wasn't paying attention to really what was being installed. Just getting rid of the yellow "!" by each driver, one at a time.

when you reinstalled, did you install the intel chipset driver?

suggest you install it as the system should not come to any harm if you reinstall the chipset driver.
