Problem with installing wireless driver, Vostro 3350

Hi peeps, I recently did a fresh install of windows 7 ultimate on my laptop all the other drivers have successful installed except the wireless driver and the AMD grahics (not tried to install yet) when it comes to installing the wireless driver it goes right to the end of the loading screen where the green bar fills up and then it closes, how can I fix this?

I have also installed the drivers in the correct order as I saw that on a previous post I was looking at.

In the hardware panel I see network controller with the exclamation mark next to it when I click update it says cannot find update, I've tried uninstalling and letting windows install but yet it failed.

Any light on this?

Hi davids1449,

I’d be glad to assist you regarding the same,

The installation of the drivers in the correct order has to be done right after re-installing the Operating system, Did you try doing that?
If no, then I’d suggest you to re-install the Windows 7 Operating System and install the drivers in the correct order and then install the Windows updates and restart the computer. Please install the drivers from the Dell’s support website by clicking on the below link:
http://dell.to/1dFtXxL

Type in the Service tag, Under Drivers and downloads select the Operating system and install the drivers listed as per the correct order and restart the computer once completed.

Click on the You tube link below which shows the correct order of the drivers installation:

Please also try running the Diagnostics on the computer after the drivers are installed by tapping F12 during startup and selecting Diagnostics and you can run the Express Test just to check the hardware functionality.

Please complete these steps and let us know your findings.

Hi davids1449,

Thank you for your response, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth driver that you’ve installed as per the image it has installed successfully and you can click on the option “This program installed correctly”. This driver is compatible for Windows 7 OS 32 bit and 64 bit both the versions and you might check in Device Manager under Network and start connecting the Wireless and Bluetooth and check its functionality.
Please also provide us the screenshot of the Device Manager.

Let us know if this helps.
