Hi argenis.oros,
NX allows the processor to help guard the PC from attacks by malicious software.
If you do not have this feature in system BIOS, you can install any antivirus on your computer to protect it against the virus or malware. Moreover Windows 8 comes with a default feature of 'Microsoft Security Essentials' to protect against the malwares and virus.
For more information on this, you can refer to link: http://bit.ly/13Krvzq and http://bit.ly/YcP6Zr
Please reply for further clarifications.

What processor model do you have? Some don't support this.

I am having the same issue installing windows 8 on my XPS M1530. I ran the Windows 8 upgrade assistant and it said "Your processor doesn't have NX turned on or might not support NX". The microsoft site said that if my PC doesn't support this it won't be able to install Windows 8. I went into the bios (F2 at startup) and can not find anywhere to turn this on. Help

NX is called EXECUTE DISABLE BIT in the SECURITY Section of the CMOS. ALL Core2 DUO and PENTIUM D support this.

My processor is a Core(TM)2Duo T8300. Before I purchase the Windows 8 package I just want to be sure it will load. Thanks
