problems with screen
i have a question and would like any info i could get. my computer fell off my bed ( about 2 ft ) and landed on the back. the screen went black. i restarted my computer and the screen is extremely dark, but it works. i can barely make out the white fields. the computer works fine. i am connected to a small tv, that i am using as a temporary monitor. my question is , can i order just the montior portion of my laptop? can i just replace the screen part of the monitor? any help or info whould be great.

It is, but it may be possible to fix the problem far less expensively. The backlight has probably broken - if so, repair should run $100-150, vs. 2-3 times that for a replacement screen.
You'll need a shop that specializes in LCD repairs.
