processor microcode update failure

my notebook is cpi-r series, service tag is 4r76i  assit  tag is nn00424. recently i bought a  p3-450 cpu and upgrade in the notebook and i start the computer ,the system display (processor microcode update failure)but press F1 key can into the system . the system is Xp it run is ok. Whereas it run is all right, but  alway feel it is boring when i start the computer. so i want to know how to fix the mistake.thanks for your help!

Either buy a MMC-2 Pentium II 400mhz or a Celeron 466mhz and install it. you will always get that annoying but harmless message with the CPU you have now.
