Processor speed showing up wrong?
When i go to control panel/system it says at the bottom
"Dell Computer Corporation
Dell INSPIRON I5150
Mobile Intel(R) Pentium(R)
4 CPU 3.20GHz
1.59 GHz
512 MB of RAM"
I have a 3.2 GHz processor with HT is my processor supposed to be running at 1.59? is something wrong with my computer?

what you're seeing is speedstep in action.
your cpu speed will increase to it's full potential when the system senses that more cpu power is required.

to set it to run at 3.2GHz 100% of the time, all you need to do is go into the control panel. double click "power options", in the 'power schemes' section it will be on the laptop setting by default, set it to "home/office desk" and then click apply and ok. now check the cpu speed the same way you did before and it will say 3.2Ghz
let me know if it worked.
