There is a newer version of Quickset application available which may fix Windows Mobility hot key issue, just in case you want to try it. However, that version is compatible with Windows 7 only.
Keep me posted. Please reply for any further questions.
I updated the bios with the new release 01/14/13, then I uninstalled the quickset compleatly. Then reinstalled the new version of quickset and rebooted. It is working fine.
I posted here a month ago when my mobility center hot key was not working. I finally decided to download the latest quickset support download and now that key works.
I have a question about the other two hot key functions.
The second hot key brings up a gray box. All I can do is cycle between movies, nusic, voice, gaming, maxsense. What am I supposed to be able to do with this?
My other hot key when I pressed it brought up a dialog box where I could assign a function to it. I assigned MUTE to it. Now how do I reassign a different function to it because with MUTE assigned to it I can't get back into the dialog box that gave me the various options for assignment?
Hi Royan, could you send me the same driver, I tried downloading one from this forum but it doesn't work... I'm having troubles with the quiset buttons, the one with the gear in it turns on whenever it wants, and the other two are not working, my laptop hasn't been hit or something like that.
Hello I just got my new inspiron 1720 i was just wandering what them three buttons are on the top right? I can't find a online manual about my p/c. Thanks Much
