3dw,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

As far as I know, Quickset will override the Control Panel settings.

Rollie, do you know of anyway to distribute quickset settings to multiple laptops.  We have about 30 9300's mounted on mobile carts for our nurses to use and I need to be able to change the power settings including the battery alarms on all of them.  I was going to just do it on each one but then I realized that they only apply to the user that is logged in.  Even custom quickset profiles only show up for the user that set them up.  I can't even create the profile and just have them select it.  We have auxillary batteries on the carts that make the laptop think they are always plugged in and so they use the AC settings and this is killing the batteries.  I need to make the AC settings the same as the Battery settings and set the alarms so that they will know when the AUX batteries are dead and they are running on the internal so they know they need to charge soon.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have a lot of people breathing down my neck on this one because they aren't getting enough time out of the batteries and we need to get these settings changed.
