Quickset Volume doesn't display
Hi all, I have a Dell M65 which for some reason does not show the volume control onscreen.
I have updated both my sigmatel drivers and installed the latest version of Quickset, but if I click ont he quickset icon it doesn't mention the volume controls, let alone let me click on them. the volume buttons on the laptop don't seem to do anything.
I'm not sure if this is relevant but I'm also having trouble displaying the volume control in windows on the systray - I click the option but it never comes up.
Anyone got any suggestions as to why I can't change the volume without manually loading up the volume control application - it's getting a bit annoying.
I'm using Win XP Service Pack 3
Cheers

Right - somehow it's now coming up - well, when I move the volume/mute it using the windows volume tool it displays, but the buttons at the top and the func-pageup/down shortcuts don't work - is there something else I need to install to get these to work?
using version 8.3.11 of Quickset
Cheers
