Random shutdowns and hard disk test failure
Hello :emotion-1:,
My computer shut down himself randomly without a warning.
It may occur after hour of running or after couple of days, something happen and system starts to shutdown programs. A second before system shutdown I recive BSOD w/ KERNEL-POWER error:
0x000000f4 (0x0000000000000003, 0xfffffa8009acab30, 0xfffffa8009acae10, 0xfffff800037838b0)
I tried to run Dell Support Center Hardware check but my system crashed with KERNEL-POWER error.
After restarting I found out that the crash occured at the time of hard disk check, at "Targeted read" check.
I assume that is my problem, but I not sure.
I'll be greatful to recive some profesional help.
TNX.

Run the Dell diagnostics - including the extended test on the hard drive. F12 at powerup.

Sherni,
did you ever get any follow-up on this?
I believe I am having the same problem.

Had no time to mess with that, just switched to new SSD and recycled the bad HHD.
