Red Screen
Hi,
I turned my computer(Dell Latitude D830) on this morning and the Dell start up screen was red, as well as when it went to the screen saver. Also, any picture with the color black appear red and the pixels are off. I've never had this issue and nothing unusual happened to my computer as far as damage goes that I know of that could have caused this issue.
If anyone has had this issue or has any advice as to how to fix the problem I would greatly appreciate the help.
Thanks,
Jonathan Edwards

I think I just waited a day and reset my computer a few times and it luckily went away.

Hello Diegochoco,
There are a couple of steps that can be tried which would isolate if it is a hardware or software issue.
1. Run the LCD Built-In Self-Test (BIST) .
2. Test the LCD in the System Setup (BIOS).
If you observe the same issue on the setup screen or during the LCD Bist, it is a hardware issue. For more details please check the article on Resolving Laptop LCD Lines, Fuzzy, Color, or Blurry Issues.
Please try the steps and write back to us would be glad to assist further.
