Sorry, I hit the wrong key and the thread posted before I could type a body, not to mention it looks like it's in the wrong forum...
Anyway, I'm having some problems with the tower for my Dimension 8300 and would like to replace it. All I'm looking to do is transfer all of the parts from the current case to a new one. Additionally the headphone jack in the front of the case is buggy and I wanted to see if I could get a replacement with a new case. Otherwise, I would like to know how to tell if a case made by another manufacturer is compatible with my system. Thank you very much.

Only if you are willing and able to do a lot of rewiring and re-rigging. The front panel connector is proprietary, as is the mounting scheme and the rear I/O shield.
You might want to repost this into the Dimension forum as well, by the way.
