RGBLED Display Studio xps 16
I purchase this Dell Studio xps 1640 with a RGBLED 1080p HD display. Device manager Iists my display as a Generic PnP Monitor (Standard monitor types) with ATI Radeon HD 3670 512 Mb Display adaptor. No where does device manager under display or monitor confirm that I have a 1080p monitor nor is there any confirmation that this is a RGBLED display. I have written to Dell support several times with a request to confirm that a Generic PnP monitor (Standard monitor types) is the same as a RGBLED 1080p display but Dell support has not responded to any of my emails. Can someone please help me since I cannot get Dell to respond to my emails? Do I have a RGBLED 1080p display or do I have a Generic PnP standard monitor? What is the differance if any? Your support would be greatly appreciated.

TiboT,
You can test your computer, and tell the video resolution. You can stream or d/l a HD 1080p movie trailer from the web. You can find them using Google.
If you brought the Blu-ray drive or BD-ROM , play a movie.
Enjoy your computer.

Go HERE and and enter your service tag. Choose the orginal configuration tab. Scroll down to the monitor listing. If it list the 16 in led then you have it.
You can also measure your screen. If it is 16 in then you have it, if it measure about 15.5 in then you dont.
My system has it and my monitor is listed as a Generic pnp monitor
