Right click button half funcional only
Hey guys!
I received my new Dell Inspiron 15R yesterday and I have an issue with it. The right click button is not working if I hit it on the right side, there is 1 cm which is not functional and I need to click on the right side of it or in center of it. Also is not clicking like the left click button. Is this a normal behavior or something is wrong with it ? It's pretty annoying as I usually hit it on the right side. Also....I need to press it completely to work
Thanks

Hi demlasjr,
Welcome to the community.
I understand that right click button doesn't work on the extreme right side. Kindly check if the left click button responds completely.
This is not normal as anywhere you click on the button it should respond. It might be a mechanical failure or a driver issue.
Check this link below to re-install Touchpad drivers:
Inspiron 15R 5520

Inspiron 15R 5521

Please perform these steps and let us know the results, so we can advise you further.
Thanks and Regards

Hi DELL-Sandeep P,
Thank you for your help.
I have the Inspiron 15R 7520. The left button is working just fine and I can hear the click. But the right button is simply not clicking like the other. It's a hardware issue more than a software issue. I run the Dell Update and it's says that everything is updated.
This is what I have installed:
Elantech TouchPad Driver
(Controller)
Recommended 02/04/2013 11.3.5.4, A05
On the website is saying that is the newest one.
Thanks and regards.
LE: I made a video with the issue:

You can see that it's not working. The left click is working just fine.
