Use F2 at power-on to enter bios setup and then find the option to load default values. Then save and exit.

According to the release notes on the Dell site bios A10 altered the thermal parameters - so presumably fan. Anything since then has been to do with batteries. What version bios did you have before?

If your system boots ok,  but crashes after 5 minutes and the fan is always on, it sounds to me like you have a blocked heatsink.

whats your idea about this ?

the day i update my bios version from a10 to a15 my computer goes down ... and act interesting some time for example my display become dark after 10 min of windows come up and when i restart or turn off and again turn it on it;s still dark even in boot but if i push the surface of laptop its fan goes to highest speed and if i restart it be ok again and after 10min again i have problem

or when i change place of my laptop to another place it had no problem !!!!! after 2 week again i had problem

i found out a relation between my problem and fan speed whitch change after i update bios

Vicious dust bunnies gnaw at the wires inside.  You must purchase a can of air and vacuum cleaner to slay the evil dust bunnies.  Otherwise your laptop is doomed.

You should take out the fan and clean the dust from the heatsink area and the vent to the outside.

I do not recommend removing the heatsink.

How to take apart Dell Vostro 1510 notebook >> Inside my laptop

In the following guide I will take apart a Dell Vostro 1510 notebook. You can use this guide for removing almost all internal parts from the notebook base. I think these instructions might work for some other Dell Vostro notebooks, not just a Vostro 1510. If it fits your laptop, please mention the model in the comments below.

If you need spare parts for your Vostro 1510 laptop, you can search for used and new parts here.

Before you start the disassembly process do not forget to unplug the  power adapter and battery.

STEP 1.

Remove hard drive and memory covers.

STEP 2.

Pull the hard drive to the left and disconnect it from the motherboard.

Remove the hard drive. As you see it’s a SATA hard drive. If you are replacing the hard drive, any large 2.5″ SATA hard drive should work just fine.

STEP 3.

Remove both memory modules. In a Dell Vostro 1510 you can install up to 4GB RAM (2GB module into each slot). You should use DDR2-667 modules.

STEP 4.

Remove three screws securing the cooling fan. Unplug the cooling fan cable from the motherboard.

Remove and lift up the cooling fan.

STEP 5.

Loosen four screws securing the heat sink.

Carefully lift up and remove the heat sink.
