Hi Tracy358,
The part # of the Dell 6000 Display is:
Which I thought is strange, because I've seen the Inverter Only as LTN154X2-L02
I also found
Dimension 6000 LCD Display 15.4"
Samsung
Dell PN: JD559Manufacturer P/N: CLAA154WA04WXGA Resolution (1280 x 800)LCD panel and Inverter
When you call Dell for the part# ask about both the, G4920 and JD559 and you'll have a reference point.
Personally I've fixed so many Dell Notebooks, that I know almost any 15"4 inch LCD from Dell fits in
most models. From my experience the Video Card determines the resolution
(For instance A person with a Dell 6400 had the Ati X1400 card with 1280 x 800
They wanted NVIDIA, so I put in the 7300GS and they had a much higher resolution
with the same LCD display)
