Screen Pixel Mis-Alignment

Question

Hi,   I have an Inspiron 5150. All goes well for between 5-20mins or so and then suddenly the pixel row alignment goes out to give a horizontal fuzz (large). If I leave it or continue, sometimes it goes back to normal, others not and also if it does go back to normal then it is as temporary as when it first happens. This happens even if I do nothing from first booting the system.   Additionally, if I restart the computer the problem continues. However, if I shutdown, wait and restart its back to the normal screen again.   I've tried pulling the two ram chips out to see if one was the problem, but no change running on either.   Could this be the video card?? Or should I look at software conflict or virus. Everything works, its just the display that has the problem.   Anyone??

Try an external monitor. If the problem transfers, it's the video card or driver. If it does not, the LCD display panel is faulty.
