Secure digital reader with Windows 2000
I'm trying to access the SD reader but it doesn't seem to be installed. From what I've seen in other posts, it seems as though there is no external driver for the reader; it's part of XP. Our corporate standard is (still) Win2K, so I can't upgrade. Is there a Windows 2000 driver available for the SD reader, or is there another way I can enable it?
The Device Manager does not display anything like a "secure digital reader", and when I put a card into the reader, I don't get any "connection" sound, and no new drive appears in My Computer. The closest thing I see to an SD reader in the device manager is a "PCI Device" under "Other Devices" that has a question mark next to it. Its status reads "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28). To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver." and its location is "PCI bus 3, device 1, function 2".
