I went there already and it doesn't address my problem. That's why I came to you guys. I get an error msg when I load the latest shockwave. It comes back after the load and says,"system has detected the need for a newer version of shockwave, would you like to dowhload it now?" When I do, it goes back to the original load page and it becomes a loop. When I try Flashplayer, I get an internal error
I have tried to use my isp tech support and my problem and their solution is listed below
'Ron R' says: Thank you for contacting EarthLink LiveChat, how may I help you today? harleyinthehills@earthlink.net: i have been trying to instal a shockwave player and i keep getting only 1 percent installed when i cancel it , with a "insufficient space on system disc. installation cancelled" it also shows the path as"c:\documents1\dave\locals1\temp\sw. I changed the blocker as requested in the help menu. Ron R: I suggest that you clear the Temp files in the and then try to install it again. Ron R: 1. Double click on My Computer icon on your desktop. 2. Open C: Drive. 3. Open Documents and Settings folder. 4. Open the folder named after your windows login name. 5. Open Local Settings folder.
If you are unable to see the Local Settings folder, in the current folder in which you are, go to Tools -> Folder options and then click on View tab and select the option show hidden files and folders.
Click Apply and OK.
6. Open Temp folder. 7. Select all the files in the Temp folder and then delete them.
I tried it and it didnt work . any other suggestions? I use a dell inspiron 1100. thanks

You may then need to reinstall your web browser. If you are using Internet Explorer, you can reinstall the latest browser from Microsoft's site.
