Power management settings?  Device conflicts?  Software conflicts?  All of these are possible,  but to determine if any of them are your cause we would need to know more info.  Do you have any event log entries which indicate errors?  Is your BIOS set to Max battery (or something similar)?  Where there any system changes (hardware or software) at the time you noticed the change in boot-up time?
